We are delighted to share that two of our creators have won at the National Influencer Awards 2026 in Liverpool. Daud Butt was named Most Inspirational Person of the Year, and Sam McCarthy won Fitness and Wellness Personality of the Year.
Two wins in a strong field
Both awards came against a strong pool of talent, with some brilliant creators in every category. To win one of them is a big moment for any creator. To win two as a pair, from the same story, is something we are really proud of.
The story behind it
Daud's transformation journey is the heart of this. When Sam first came in as his coach, it was a working relationship. Over time it became a real friendship, and that friendship is a big part of what audiences have connected with. They have shared the highs, the hard days and the progress in a way that feels honest, because it is.
That comes through in their storytelling. Neither of them is playing a part. People can tell when a creator partnership is genuine, and they back it when it is.
What it means from the brand side
We spent years on the brand side of influencer marketing before starting Gravitas Talent, and the creators who build lasting value for brands are the ones whose audiences believe them.
